I. Deep Exploration, Founding Vision
The foundation of JIYU Machinery dates back to the 1990s. In 1993, the founder formally entered the woodworking machinery field, establishing a long-term development direction in the woodworking equipment industry and embarking on a journey of technical exploration. At that time, the domestic woodworking machinery industry was still in its early stages. Equipment precision and automation levels fell far short of European imports, and high-end equipment relied heavily on imports. Small and medium-sized furniture enterprises faced many pain points including high equipment costs, poor adaptability, and lagging after-sales service.
After years of frontline technical work and industry practice, by 2000 the founder had grown into a well-known engineer in the domestic woodworking machinery field. Years of deep industry experience gave clear insight into the shortcomings and opportunities in China's woodworking machinery industry. By benchmarking against European advanced woodworking machinery enterprises' manufacturing processes, production standards and craftsmanship spirit, the founder developed the original aspiration to create a high-standard, high-quality, localized woodworking machinery brand, aiming to produce high-quality equipment suited to domestic furniture production needs, breaking the monopoly of imported equipment. Brand preparation and technology R&D were formally launched, laying the technical and conceptual foundation for the subsequent establishment of the enterprise.
II. Establishment, Startup Phase
After years of technical accumulation and market research, in 2008, Jiyu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was officially established in Guangdong, precisely entering the woodworking machinery segment. Woodworking multi-drill equipment was the core startup product, beginning the path of specialized and refined production. In the early stage, the company focused on refining the quality of core products, deeply developing and producing multi-drill equipment. Addressing the core needs of small and medium-sized furniture enterprises for panel drilling, the company optimized equipment structure, improved processing precision, and solved industry pain points of traditional multi-drill equipment such as cumbersome operation, large precision deviation, and insufficient stability.
Starting from 2009, relying on solid technical foundations, the company continuously iterated its multi-drill products, gradually expanding from basic two-row drills to three-row and six-row drill series, enriching the product matrix to meet drilling needs of different scales of furniture production. With excellent product quality, high cost-performance ratio, and adaptability to the local market, JIYU multi-drill equipment quickly gained market recognition, establishing a foothold in the South China panel furniture industrial belt, accumulating the first batch of stable cooperative customers and building a good market reputation, laying a solid market foundation for subsequent large-scale development.
III. Technology Iteration, Smart Upgrade
In 2012, the company completed its standardized upgrade and formally established the production base layout in Shunde District, Foshan City. Leveraging the location advantages, industrial chain resources and supporting industry advantages of the Shunde Lunjiao woodworking machinery industrial cluster, the company entered a new stage of standardized and normalized development. During this period, the domestic furniture industry accelerated transformation and upgrading, with automated and intelligent production becoming the mainstream trend. Traditional single machinery could no longer meet the production needs of whole-house custom furniture.
Keeping pace with industry trends, JIYU Machinery launched comprehensive technological innovation and product upgrades, breaking through the limitations of single multi-drill products and extending to full-process production equipment for panel furniture. From 2012, the company independently developed automatic multi-drill equipment with innovative conveyor belt and silo structures, achieving automated panel feeding and continuous processing, significantly reducing labor costs and improving production efficiency, leading the regional automation upgrade of multi-drill equipment.
In the following years, the company continued to increase R&D investment, built a professional technical R&D team, and overcame multiple core technologies in woodworking machinery. It successively launched CNC cutting machines, fully automatic edge banding machines, CNC six-sided drill-milling centers, electronic saws and other full-series intelligent panel furniture production equipment, building a full-process intelligent equipment system covering cutting, edge banding, drilling and cutting. It can provide one-stop equipment support for whole-house custom furniture production lines. At the same time, the company established a standardized production system with strict quality control throughout production, assembly and inspection, achieving qualitative leaps in product stability, precision and durability. Brand influence continued to expand nationwide.
IV. Scale Expansion, Brand Development
In 2019, the company completed the expansion and upgrade of its production base, with the factory area exceeding 15,000 square meters.
